I’ll guide you the whole way, where to put your hands, what to do with your body, and (most importantly) how to stay connected so the photos feel like your relationship, not a performance. The secret to capturing those candid, emotional, deeply connected images is simple, it starts with being fully present.
I show up exactly as myself, no mystery or facade, so you two feel like you’re with a friend from the moment we meet, not a stranger holding a camera. When you feel comfortable enough to just be in the moment with your person, that’s when the real magic unfolds, the soft, quiet moments and the bold, joyful ones. I’m the girl who grew up watching my dad film everything on his camcorder and my mom photograph every family adventure. Those memories are why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place because I learned early how precious it is to freeze time. And that’s why I care so deeply about the experience you have on your wedding day.

My experience with Kathryn Johnson has been nothing but amazing! We booked her to shoot our wedding and she included an engagement shoot that I can brag about forever.
